Cookie Policy — St. Tropez Luxury Car

Cookies are small text files that a website can place on your device to remember something between visits or between pages. Local storage and session storage work in a similar way: they are small pieces of data kept by your browser rather than sent back to a server automatically on every request. Some technologies also trigger a plain network request to a third-party server, for example to fetch a font or a script, without placing anything on your device.

sainttropezluxurycarrental.fr sets no cookies of its own. We do not use any analytics tool, advertising pixel, or social-media tracker. There is no profiling, no behavioural targeting, and nothing sold to anyone. What follows is a full account of the storage entries and third-party requests that do exist on the site, listed above.

We use two small browser-storage entries, both listed in the table above, and neither linked to your identity.

• One local-storage entry simply remembers that you have already seen and closed our cookie notice, so it doesn't pop up again on your next page view.

• One session-storage entry remembers which car you clicked on while browsing, so that if you then open the enquiry form it can be prefilled with that car. It disappears as soon as you close the tab or send the form.

Neither entry contains your name, email, phone number or any other contact detail. They are purely technical and never leave your browser.

Two third-party services are called when you load pages on the site: Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces, and the jsDelivr CDN, which supplies the intl-tel-input script used to format the phone-number field in our forms. Neither sets a cookie for us. Both receive the visitor's IP address simply because that is how any request over the internet works, as the request has to travel from your device to their servers.

When you tap a WhatsApp button on our site, nothing is set on sainttropezluxurycarrental.fr beyond a record in our own booking system of the click itself — the page URL, referrer, language and the prefilled message text, kept so we can follow up on your enquiry. The button then opens the WhatsApp application or website. From that point, the conversation runs entirely on WhatsApp's own platform, operated by Meta, under WhatsApp's own privacy policy, which we do not control.

Because we set no cookies and only two minor storage entries, there is little to manage, but you remain in full control. Every modern browser lets you view, block or delete local storage and session storage through its settings, usually under a section called "privacy", "site settings" or "storage". Clearing your browser's site data for sainttropezluxurycarrental.fr will remove both entries listed above; the cookie notice will simply reappear on your next visit, and the car-prefill feature will no longer have anything to prefill until you click a car again.

You can also block third-party requests such as Google Fonts or the jsDelivr script using your browser's settings or an extension; the site will still work, though the phone field may lose its automatic formatting and the fonts may fall back to your system default.

If we ever decide to add optional cookies, for instance for analytics or marketing, we will update this page first and ask for your consent through a clear banner before any such cookie is placed, in line with Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the guidelines of the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL, www.cnil.fr). Nothing of that kind exists today.
